Chinese New Year Celebrations

Celebrating Chinese New Year has been Chinese traditions... As an example, lion dance, giving out angpao n enjoying yee sang (Malaysian's Traditon). I love celebrating CNY. Every year, I am looking foward to this celebration when year end comes. Now, CNY is here. As usual, we went to KL to pray at the temples along petaling street on the second day. In the afternoon, we went to a vegeterian restaurant at Taman Sea which offers reasonable n yummy delicacies. The shop is Lian Chi Vege Health Food Restaurant Sdn Bhd. It is worth to give a try if u like vegeterian food.

Today which is the third day, dad has invited the lion dace group frm Kg Cempaka to perform in our houz. We have been waiting for an hour n it finally arrived around 10am. Mum n dad invited my neighbour which is formally my bm tuition teacher n my aunt.

~~ I LOVE CNY !! ~~

Happy Chinese New Year!!

Since school reopens i doesn't have any spare time to update my little bloggie, it's a bit "rusty" ! Haha.. I have been busy doing revision for each subject as i find form 2 work is really tough, i better buck up. :(

By the way today is chinese new year eve, n i have been waiting this festival to come since lst yr cny has ended. I really love Chinese New Year especially this year. I'm proud to say tht this year, 2011 is the first year having my hand made cookies on the table, n giving it to mum's friend n grandma. What a nice thing! I have posted tht my cookies are a failure except for the butter cookies, but recently i have made cornflake n almond cookies twice n there r lots of them on the table !! Hehe... being greedy i not a good thing.

Tonight , my family n my aunt's family will gather together for CNY eve dinner. Yum Yum. There will sparkling fireworks in the dark black sky. It's really exciting to rush out the house at 12am to enjoy the memorable moment. As we always said in Mandarin, new year, new hope, new aim, mum n dad have decorated our house with red ornaments which symbolizes good luck, peace n fortune. Our house really looks different. Below is just a quick post about my house as i have to change my outfit already!

Dad's favourite ornament, "fa" means good fortune.
hahaha....

Red pineapple fortune with sounds like usher in the good fortune in Hokkien.

Red lanterns.

Red n gold ornaments.

Pinky flower decorated by mum n dad.
